BEING DIVINE

The director, Luca Pellegrini, and his crew followed the journey taken by Nina’s laboratory, which led to the spectacular recital of Piumate.

ESSERE DIVINA (BEING DIVINE) tells the story of the only school in Italy where you can become a drag queen. In this special institute in Milan, you may walk in wearing flats, but you will exit in high heels. Four teachers, who are responsible for this transformation, are in charge of a total of twenty pupils between them.

This docufilm tells the story of what happens inside a school of drag through the voice of the protagonists with great sensitivity and delicacy.
