In 2021, a global pandemic prevents live artists from being able to perform.

Riccardo, the person behind the persona of Ava Hangar, decides to make an extreme gesture. He breaks into a theatre and clandestinely reclaims the space that has been taken from her, treading the stage in front of a non-existent audience.

In a historical moment when the interaction between audience and performer is forcibly put on pause, Riccardo/Ava takes advantage of this absence of an audience to be able to come clean and put themselves in the footlights for the first time in a context that has always put them at ease: the stage.

It is a tale of fragility and failure, as well as of disillusionment, and the perennial feeling of being out of place and late to the game, in the age of likes, visual perfection and content creators.

A bizarre collective session of cathartic psychoanalysis.
