DRAG ME UP
Queer Art Event
DRAG ME UP is an artistic platform tackling gender issues through the codes of Drag subculture within the international contemporary arts scene in their most experimental and original forms.
DRAG ME UP aims to be an international network for contemporary arts and LGBTIQ+ activism, as a stage hosting all gender expressions, celebrating their features through costumes, make-up and wigs with a mix of irony and socio-cultural activism.
All of the above will flow into a multiannual Festival opening its first edition in April 2021.
Each year, the Festival will tackle a specific theme related to gender identity and sexual orientation discrimination, which will be carried out through multidisciplinary performances and initiatives of audience development to engage diversified and extended target groups.
The theme of DRAG ME UP first edition is #LoveSpeech – Words to end violence and discrimination against LGBTIQ+ people.
Soon available online the full programme of the first edition of the Festival. Stay tuned!

DECEMBER 21
Aspettando CABARECHT
La Dolce Vita
A new and illustrious guest will be summoned on this new appointment of our Aspettando CABARECHT format: Federico Fellini.
With irony and irreverence, this show will be a nod to Fellini’s imagination, with musical excerpts from Nino Rota’s works, songs, choreography and dreamlike moments inspired by some of the Maestro’s most famous films, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
